A-Boards & Pavement Signs

An A-board on the pavement drives footfall. Simple, direct and effective. When the message is right they work — and when they are printed professionally they represent your brand rather than undermining it.

Where A-boards work best

Cafes and restaurants use them for daily specials and offers. Salons and nail bars display walk-in availability and promotions. Independent retailers push sale messaging. Estate agents use them for open house signs. Pubs promote food menus and events. Best positioned at the entrance or within two to three metres of the door where passing pedestrian traffic can read the message without crossing the road.

What to consider before ordering

Many local councils require a pavement licence for A-boards placed on the public highway. Contact your local authority before committing to a pavement position. The message should be simple — three to four words is ideal. Change the message seasonally or for promotions using interchangeable inserts or a snap-frame board. Plastic snap-frame, chalkboard and poster-frame styles are all available in standard sizes.
